I’m not a believer in the Eagles offense after their 44-point showing against the Detroit Lions. Tom Brady of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers threw for 297 and two touchdowns and Derek Carr of the Las Vegas Raiders completed 31 of 34 passes for 323 yards and two touchdowns. Although, the Eagles defense got picked apart in the two games prior to playing Jared Goff and the Lions. Philadelphia’s defense has been respectable, and could potentially give Herbert fits, allowing just 220.6 passing yards per game. I’d expect the Eagles to use their collection of running backs, and Hurts’ legs, to pick up yardage on the ground. But, Los Angeles is allowing 159.4 rushing yards per game, worst in the NFL. Thomas Snodgrass writes: "The Chargers have allowed just 203.1 passing yards per game this season, fifth best in the NFL, so Jalen Hurts will probably struggle through the air. While this offense has been more consistent than last season’s group, Philadelphia’s secondary is a disaster. but all the signs point in that direction.
